About Us

Community Change Advocates (CCA) is a women-led, registered national non-governmental organization dedicated to driving sustainable change across Kenya. We partner with local governments, civil society, and international organizations to promote equitable access to healthcare, environmental stewardship, and quality education.

HP Our Programs

Health Advocacy

We conduct medical outreaches and community dialogues to reduce preventable maternal mortality. We empower mothers with knowledge about their rights to safe childbirth and postnatal care.
As technology becomes central to healthcare, we advocate for the protection of patient data and ensure that vulnerable communities are not left behind by the digital divide in health services.
Over 5,000 community members reached through health campaigns and free medical camps.

Environment & Climate Change

We lead aggressive reforestation efforts in the semi-arid regions of Machakos, Kitui, and Makueni, focusing on indigenous and fruit-bearing trees to improve both soil health and local food security.
Organizing community-led waste management and sanitation drives to protect local water sources and improve public hygiene.
Training youth and women to be climate champions who can lead adaptation efforts in their own villages.

Education & Mentorship

We identify and support bright but needy students with tuition fees and learning materials to ensure they complete their secondary and tertiary education.
Our “Digi-Empower” sessions teach essential computer skills and internet safety to rural youth, opening doors to global information and remote work opportunities.
Career guidance and life-skills coaching to build the confidence of young people from marginalized backgrounds.

Leadership & Governance

We conduct workshops on the Kenyan Constitution, specifically teaching citizens how to participate in “Public Participation” forums and county budget-making processes.
Training the next generation of grassroots leaders to take up roles in community committees and local governance structures.
Creating safe spaces for community members to engage directly with their local leaders (MCAs and County officials) to advocate for better services.
